Maria Gern Church, also known as the St. Maria Hilf, is a Catholic pilgrimage church situated in the Berchtesgaden Alps near the town of Berchtesgaden, Germany. The church was built in 1674 on the site of an older chapel and was dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It is renowned for its Baroque architecture and stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

The interior of the church is decorated with frescoes and stucco work, and features a high altar with a statue of the Virgin Mary. The church also houses a 14th-century wooden crucifix that is said to have miraculous properties. The exterior of the church is equally impressive, with its onion-domed bell tower and bright yellow façade.

The church is located in a picturesque setting and attracts many visitors each year, including hikers, skiers, and pilgrims. It is particularly popular in the winter months when the surrounding mountains are covered in snow.

Visitors to the church can attend mass or simply take in the beauty of the building and its surroundings. There is a small parking lot nearby, as well as a café and souvenir shop. The church is open daily, but hours may vary depending on the season.
