Koutoubia, also known as Kutubiyya Mosque, is a historic mosque located in the city of Marrakesh, Morocco. The mosque is situated in the heart of the city's old town, near the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, and is considered one of the most important landmarks in Marrakesh.

Koutoubia was built during the 12th century during the reign of the Almohad dynasty, which ruled over much of North Africa and Spain at the time. The mosque's name, "Koutoubia," means "booksellers," as the area around the mosque was once home to a bustling market for manuscripts and books.

The mosque features a large square minaret, which is approximately 70 meters tall and is topped with a spire and a copper orb.
