Kenrokuen Garden is a traditional Japanese garden located in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. The garden was created in the 17th century and is regarded as one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan, along with Kairakuen in Mito and Korakuen in Okayama. Kenrokuen means "Garden of the Six Sublimities," which refers to the six attributes of a perfect landscape: spaciousness, seclusion, artificiality, antiquity, abundant water, and panoramic views.

The garden covers an area of 11.4 hectares and features a central pond, streams, waterfalls, bridges, hills, tea houses, and a variety of trees and flowers. Some of the notable attractions in the garden include the Kotojitoro Lantern, which is one of the symbols of the garden and is illuminated at night, and the Kasumigaike Pond, which reflects the surrounding trees and flowers in its crystal-clear waters.

Kenrokuen Garden is particularly famous for its cherry blossoms, which bloom in late March or early April, and its autumn foliage, which peaks in late November. Visitors can enjoy the changing seasons and the different views of the garden throughout the year.

In addition to the garden itself, there are several cultural and historical sites located within or near the garden, such as the Kanazawa Castle, the Seisonkaku Villa, and the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art. These sites offer a deeper insight into the history and culture of the region.
