Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church is a historic landmark located in the center of Berlin, Germany. The original church was built in the late 19th century and dedicated to Emperor Wilhelm I. During World War II, the church was heavily damaged in Allied bombings, leaving only a portion of the original structure standing. After the war, it was decided to preserve the remains of the church as a reminder of the destruction and atrocities of war.

In the 1960s, a modernist church was built adjacent to the original structure, designed by architect Egon Eiermann. The new church is characterized by its stark, modernist design, featuring a hexagonal floor plan and a 265-foot tall bell tower made of concrete and stained glass. The tower is also home to a viewing platform, offering stunning views of the city.

The original church, which now stands as a ruin, has been preserved as a war memorial and is open to visitors. It is a poignant reminder of the devastating effects of war on both people and architecture. The church is located on Breitscheidplatz in the Charlottenburg neighborhood of Berlin and is easily accessible by public transportation.
