Holy Mother Virgins Nativity Cathedral is an Eastern Orthodox church located in the city of Kutaisi, Georgia. The church is considered to be one of the most significant examples of medieval Georgian architecture and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The construction of the cathedral began in the 1180s, during the reign of Queen Tamar, and was completed in the early 13th century. The cathedral is a three-nave basilica built of stone and brick, and its interior is decorated with beautiful frescoes and mosaics.

One of the most notable features of the cathedral is its large dome, which is supported by eight columns and is adorned with beautiful frescoes of the twelve apostles. The cathedral's exterior is also adorned with intricate stone carvings and beautiful ornamental decorations.

During its long history, the cathedral has undergone several renovations and restorations, including a major restoration in the late 20th century that aimed to restore the cathedral to its original glory.

Today, the Holy Mother Virgins Nativity Cathedral is one of the most important religious and cultural landmarks in Kutaisi and is a popular destination for tourists and pilgrims alike.
