Hatley Castle is a historic mansion located in Colwood, British Columbia, Canada. It was built in 1908 for James Dunsmuir, a British Columbia Premier and wealthy industrialist. The castle was designed by the architect Samuel Maclure in the Scottish Baronial style, and it is set in a beautiful garden with a view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

After the Dunsmuir family, the castle was used as a naval training facility during both World War I and World War II. In 1940, it became the Royal Roads Military College, a training academy for cadets of the Canadian Navy. The college operated until 1995, when it was closed by the government.

Today, Hatley Castle is a popular tourist destination and a National Historic Site of Canada. The castle and its gardens are open to the public for tours and events, including weddings and film shoots. The castle interior has been preserved and features wood carvings, ornate plasterwork, and original furnishings. Visitors can also explore the surrounding gardens, which include a Japanese garden, a rose garden, and a formal Italian garden.
