The Hallwyl Museum (Hallwylska Museet) is a historic house museum in Stockholm, Sweden, located in the Östermalm district. It was originally built as a private residence for Walther and Wilhelmina von Hallwyl, a wealthy couple who collected art, antiques, and rare objects from all over the world. The museum offers a glimpse into the luxurious lifestyle of the Swedish aristocracy during the turn of the 20th century.

The Hallwyl Museum consists of three buildings: the main building, which was completed in 1898, the coach house, and the garden pavilion. The interiors of the main building have been preserved almost exactly as they were when the von Hallwyls lived there, complete with original furniture, paintings, tapestries, and other decorative objects. Visitors can explore the different rooms of the house, including the grand hall, dining room, drawing room, and bedrooms, as well as the various galleries, libraries, and studies.

In addition to the main building, the Hallwyl Museum also houses a collection of over 50,000 objects, including paintings, sculptures, textiles, and other artifacts. Highlights of the collection include works by Dutch Old Masters such as Frans Hals and Rembrandt, as well as Swedish artists like Anders Zorn and Carl Larsson. The museum also has a well-stocked library with over 10,000 books and manuscripts on topics ranging from art and history to science and literature.
