Gandantegchenling Monastery, also known as the Gandan Monastery, is a Tibetan-style Buddhist monastery located in the heart of Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. The monastery was founded in 1838 and is one of the most important religious sites in Mongolia.
