Forte de Nossa Senhora da Graça is a historic fortress located in the town of Elvas in Portugal. The fortress was built in the late 18th century to defend the town and its surrounding areas from Spanish invasion. It was designed by the Portuguese military engineer, Mateus Vicente de Oliveira, and is considered to be one of the finest examples of military architecture in Portugal.

The fortress is situated on a hilltop overlooking the town and the surrounding countryside, providing panoramic views of the region. It features a large star-shaped bastion, a parade ground, a chapel, and a cistern for water storage. The bastion is surrounded by a deep moat, and the fortress is protected by several layers of walls and gates.

During the 19th century, the fortress was used as a military barracks and a prison. It played a key role in the Peninsular War, when it was used as a base for the British army during their campaign against the French.

Today, Forte de Nossa Senhora da Graça is open to the public as a museum and cultural center. Visitors can explore the various buildings and exhibits, which showcase the history and architecture of the fortress and the region. The fortress also hosts cultural events and exhibitions throughout the year.
