Falun Mine is an old copper mine in Sweden, located in the town of Falun in the province of Dalarna. The mine was operational for over 1,000 years, from the 10th century to 1992. It was the largest copper mine in Europe during the 17th century, and played a significant role in Sweden's economy and history.

The mine is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and attracts visitors from around the world. Visitors can explore the underground tunnels and chambers of the mine, which extend over 70 kilometers in length. The mine has several levels, with the deepest level being over 300 meters underground. The tunnels and chambers are open for guided tours, which offer visitors an opportunity to learn about the history and geology of the mine, as well as the lives of the miners who worked there.

In addition to the mine, there are several other historic buildings and sites in the area, including the Falun Copper Mill, which was used to process the copper ore, and the Old Town of Falun, which has preserved many of its historic buildings and streetscapes. Visitors can also enjoy outdoor activities in the surrounding countryside, including hiking, biking, skiing, and fishing.
