Decebal's Head is a large rock sculpture located on the Romanian side of the Danube River, near the town of Orsova. It depicts the head of the ancient Dacian king Decebalus, who fought against the Roman Empire in the early 2nd century AD.

The sculpture was created between 1994 and 2004 by Romanian sculptor Florin Cotarcea and a team of helpers, using explosives and pneumatic hammers to carve the rock face. It stands over 40 meters tall and is the tallest rock sculpture in Europe.

The project was initiated by businessman Iosif Constantin Dragan, who was inspired by similar projects in the United States, such as Mount Rushmore. The sculpture is a popular tourist attraction, with visitors often taking boat trips along the Danube to get a closer look.

In addition to its artistic and historical significance, the Decebal's Head sculpture also serves as a symbol of Romanian national identity and pride, as it commemorates one of Romania's most important historical figures and the country's ancient roots.
