Brighton Pier, also known as Palace Pier, is a famous Victorian-era pier located in the English seaside city of Brighton. It was opened in 1899 and was originally named the Palace Pier. The pier is a popular tourist attraction that features a variety of entertainment and amusements for visitors of all ages.

The pier is over 500 meters long and extends out into the English Channel, offering beautiful views of the sea and the coastline. It features an amusement park with a range of rides, including a roller coaster, a fun house, and a carousel. There are also arcade games, a traditional fish and chip shop, and a variety of other food and drink vendors.

In addition to the amusements, the pier also has several restaurants, bars, and shops. Visitors can enjoy a meal at one of the pier's restaurants while taking in the views of the sea, or browse the shops for souvenirs and gifts.

Brighton Pier has had a long and interesting history, including surviving a number of major storms and even being partially destroyed by a fire in 2003. Despite these challenges, the pier remains one of Brighton's most popular attractions and a beloved symbol of the city's seaside culture.
