Blue Planet Aquarium is an aquarium located in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, England. It was opened in 1998 and is currently home to over 100 living displays, featuring more than 4000 animals from around the world. The aquarium aims to educate visitors about marine life conservation and offers an array of interactive exhibits to engage visitors of all ages.

One of the main attractions of the Blue Planet Aquarium is the large Caribbean reef exhibit, which is one of the largest in the UK, and features a 230-foot underwater tunnel, allowing visitors to experience the marine life from a unique perspective. Other popular exhibits include the Amazonian floodplain, showcasing species from the South American rainforest, and the fascinating coral caves, with over 100 species of coral.

In addition to the exhibits, the Blue Planet Aquarium offers a range of activities and experiences, including shark dives, otter feeds, and handling sessions with a variety of animals such as starfish, crabs, and sea urchins. The aquarium also runs educational programs for schools and groups, as well as hosting birthday parties and events.

The Blue Planet Aquarium is committed to marine conservation and has implemented several measures to reduce its environmental impact, including using energy-efficient lighting and reducing water usage. It also supports several conservation programs and initiatives, such as the Shark Trust and the Marine Conservation Society.
