The Beijing Capital Museum is a comprehensive museum located in Beijing, China. It was opened in 1981 and moved to a new building in 2006, which is located in the Xicheng District of Beijing. The museum covers an area of over 50,000 square meters and has over 200,000 cultural relics in its collection.

The museum is known for its collection of artifacts from the imperial period of Chinese history, including ceramics, bronzes, jade objects, calligraphy, and painting. Some of the most notable items in the collection include a jade burial suit from the Han Dynasty, a bronze horse from the Tang Dynasty, and a painting by the Ming Dynasty artist Qiu Ying.

In addition to its permanent collection, the museum hosts several temporary exhibitions each year, covering a range of topics related to Chinese culture and history. The museum also features a number of educational programs and events, including lectures, workshops, and guided tours.

The building itself is an architectural marvel, designed by the Chinese architect Cui Kai and the French architect Jean-Marie Duthilleul. The building's exterior features a striking, undulating roof, while the interior is divided into a series of interconnected exhibition spaces.
