The Arch of Marcus Aurelius is a Roman triumphal arch located in the city of Tripoli in modern-day Libya. The arch was built in AD 165 by the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius to commemorate his military victories against the Parthians. The arch was originally situated at the eastern entrance to the city and served as a grand gateway into the city.

The arch is made of marble and stands at a height of 19 meters. The structure is decorated with intricate reliefs depicting scenes from the emperor's campaigns against the Parthians. The arch is adorned with elaborate carvings of Roman soldiers, Parthian prisoners, and mythological figures. The reliefs are arranged in four registers, each depicting a different scene.

Over the centuries, the Arch of Marcus Aurelius has undergone significant restoration work, particularly in the 17th century. Today, it stands as one of the few surviving ancient structures in Tripoli and remains an important landmark of the city's rich history.
