Arboretum Trsteno is a botanical garden located in the village of Trsteno in Croatia, about 20 km north-west of Dubrovnik. It is the oldest arboretum in Croatia, established in the late 15th century by the noble family Gozze as part of their summer residence. The garden was designed in the Renaissance style with a mix of Mediterranean and exotic flora.

The arboretum covers an area of about 25 acres and has over 300 species of plants, including a large collection of trees and shrubs, such as magnolias, camellias, cypresses, and palms. The highlight of the arboretum is the Giant Plane Tree, which is over 500 years old and one of the oldest and largest of its kind in Europe.

The arboretum was severely damaged during the Croatian War of Independence in the 1990s, but it has since been restored to its former glory. Today, it is a popular tourist destination and a favorite spot for locals to escape the heat of summer. The arboretum also hosts several cultural events throughout the year, including concerts, exhibitions, and festivals.

In addition to its botanical collection, the arboretum also features a summerhouse, a fish pond, and a Baroque fountain. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll through the garden and enjoy stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and the nearby islands.
