Aquario de Sao Paulo is one of the largest aquariums in Latin America, located in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil. It features over 3 million liters of water and more than 300 species of animals, including fish, mammals, birds, reptiles, and invertebrates.
The aquarium is divided into different areas, each showcasing a different ecosystem. Visitors can explore a replica of the Amazon Rainforest, where they can see species such as piranhas, anacondas, and jaguars. They can also visit a replica of the Pantanal wetlands, featuring giant otters and alligators, or the Brazilian coast area, home to sharks and sea turtles.
Aquario de Sao Paulo also has a section dedicated to marine mammals, where visitors can see dolphins, sea lions, and penguins. There is a large oceanic tank that holds more than 1 million liters of water, featuring species such as rays, sharks, and barracudas.
In addition to the exhibits, Aquario de Sao Paulo also offers educational programs and activities for visitors of all ages. Visitors can attend animal shows and feedings, participate in workshops and educational tours, and learn about conservation efforts and marine biology research.
