Alinja Castle, also known as the "Maiden Tower of Aghdam", is a historical fortress located in the Agdam district of Azerbaijan. The castle is situated on top of a steep hill overlooking the Aras River valley and was built during the 12th century. It served as a military stronghold for the rulers of the Atabegs of Azerbaijan and was used as a strategic point to defend the region against invasions.

The castle has a unique architectural design and was built using large stone blocks. It is surrounded by thick walls and features a complex system of underground tunnels and secret passageways, which were used for communication and as escape routes during times of war. The castle also has a deep well, which provided the inhabitants with a reliable source of water.

The fortress was abandoned during the 17th century and gradually fell into ruins. In the 20th century, the castle was partially restored and is now considered an important cultural and historical site in Azerbaijan. Visitors can explore the ruins of the castle, which offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The castle is also a popular spot for photography, as it is situated in a scenic location and has a unique design.
