Al Saleh Mosque, also known as Al Saleh Islamic Centre, is a mosque located in Sana'a, Yemen. It is one of the largest mosques in the world, with a total area of more than 27,000 square meters and a capacity of over 44,000 worshipers.
The construction of the mosque began in 2003 and was completed in 2008. It was built by Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Al Ahmar, a prominent businessman and politician in Yemen, as a gift to the Yemeni people. The mosque is named after him and his family.
The mosque has a unique architectural design that combines traditional Yemeni and modern Islamic elements. It features four minarets, each over 100 meters tall, and a central dome that is 25 meters in diameter.
