Ahsan Manzil is a historic palace located in the old part of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was the official residence and seat of the Nawab of Dhaka. The palace was constructed in 1859 by Nawab Abdul Ghani, the city's wealthiest merchant, and later expanded by his son, Nawab Khwaja Abdul Ghani.

The palace is an excellent example of the Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture, which is a blend of European and Indian architectural styles. The building is divided into two parts - the eastern part, which was used as the residence of the Nawab, and the western part, which was used for official purposes.

The palace is five stories tall, and it sits on a raised platform that is surrounded by a moat. The palace has 23 galleries and 108 rooms, which are decorated with antique furniture, chandeliers, and other decorative items. The palace also has a beautiful garden with fountains and a pond.

The palace was used as the residence of the Nawab until the partition of India in 1947. After the partition, the palace was abandoned, and it fell into disrepair. In 1985, the Bangladesh government declared the palace a national museum, and extensive renovation work was carried out to restore it to its former glory. Today, the palace is open to the public, and it is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Dhaka.
