Acapulco is a popular tourist destination located on the Pacific coast of Mexico, in the state of Guerrero. It is known for its beautiful beaches, nightlife, and historical significance as one of Mexico's original beach resort towns. The city was once a thriving port and a hub of international trade, and its natural bay provided a sheltered harbor for ships.

Acapulco's coastline is dotted with crescent-shaped bays and sandy beaches, and its main beach, Playa Condesa, is a lively spot for sunbathing and water activities like swimming and parasailing. The city is also famous for its cliff divers, who perform daring leaps from La Quebrada into the rocky surf below.

In addition to its stunning beaches, Acapulco is also home to a number of cultural attractions, including the Fuerte de San Diego, a 17th-century fort that once protected the city from pirate attacks, and the El Rollo Acapulco, a water park with slides and pools. The city also has a vibrant nightlife scene, with bars, nightclubs, and restaurants that stay open late into the night.
