The Spotted Lake, also known as Kliluk Lake, is a natural wonder located in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada. The lake is known for its unique appearance, as it contains over 365 circular pools that vary in size, each with a different mineral composition. The spots on the lake are created by the precipitation of minerals, including calcium, magnesium sulfate, and sodium sulfates, during the summer when the water level is low.

The Spotted Lake has long been considered sacred by the local First Nations people, who have used the mineral-rich waters for healing purposes. In fact, the lake was once purchased by a company in hopes of mining its minerals, but this plan was halted after protests from the First Nations people.

Today, the Spotted Lake is protected as a natural reserve, and visitors can view it from a nearby lookout point. Although the lake itself is not accessible, visitors can learn about the cultural and geological significance of the area through interpretive signs and exhibits. The lake is a popular tourist destination, and its unique appearance and cultural significance make it a must-see for those visiting the Okanagan Valley.
