Seronera is a region located in the central part of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The name "Seronera" comes from the Maasai word "seronera" which means "serene" or "calm". It is a popular destination for wildlife viewing and game drives due to its high concentration of animals.

The Seronera River runs through the area and provides a source of water for many animals, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions. Visitors to Seronera can expect to see a variety of wildlife including the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros), as well as cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeests, and gazelles.

In addition to game drives, there are several lodges and campsites in the area for visitors to stay overnight. Visitors can also take hot air balloon rides for a unique view of the Serengeti plains from above.
