Sept Cascades is a beautiful natural waterfall located in the south of Mauritius, near the town of Curepipe. Also known as Tamarin Falls, it is a series of seven cascades that tumble down from a height of around 90 meters (295 feet) and merge into a deep pool. The waterfall is set in a lush, tropical forest that is home to a variety of exotic flora and fauna.

Visitors to Sept Cascades can explore the surrounding area through a series of trails that take them through the dense forest, over rocky outcroppings, and along the river that feeds the waterfall. Along the way, they can see a variety of native plant and animal species, including monkeys, birds, and butterflies.

The waterfall and surrounding forest are a popular spot for hiking, picnicking, and swimming. The clear, cool waters of the pool at the base of the waterfall offer a refreshing respite from the tropical heat, and visitors can take a dip in the natural pool beneath the falls.

Sept Cascades is considered one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Mauritius and is a must-visit for anyone traveling to the island. The best time to visit is during the rainy season, between November and April, when the waterfall is at its most impressive.
