Seoraksan National Park is a mountainous national park located in the northeastern part of South Korea. The park covers an area of over 400 square kilometers and features some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the country, including granite peaks, lush forests, and crystal-clear streams.

Seoraksan is home to over 2,000 species of plants and animals, including rare species such as the Asiatic black bear, Korean musk deer, and Siberian flying squirrel. The park's unique ecosystem is a result of its location at the intersection of three different climatic zones, which has led to the development of a diverse range of flora and fauna.

One of the most popular attractions in Seoraksan National Park is the cable car ride to the top of Gwongeumseong Fortress, a ruined castle that sits atop one of the park's granite peaks. Visitors can also take part in a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, rock climbing, and camping.

In addition to its natural beauty, Seoraksan National Park is also home to a number of important cultural and historical sites. These include the ancient Buddhist temple of Sinheungsa, which houses a giant bronze Buddha statue, as well as several traditional Korean-style pavilions and bridges.
