The Fann Mountains, also known as the Fan Mountains, are a subrange of the Pamir-Alay Mountain Range located in Tajikistan. They are a popular destination for hikers and mountaineers due to their stunning beauty and accessibility. The Fann Mountains offer a range of activities for outdoor enthusiasts including hiking, climbing, and skiing.

The Fann Mountains are characterized by their high peaks, glaciers, and crystal clear lakes. The highest peak in the range is Chimtarga, which stands at 5,489 meters (18,005 feet) tall. Other notable peaks in the range include Energia, Bodkhona, and Zamok.

One of the most popular hiking trails in the Fann Mountains is the Haft Kul, or Seven Lakes, trek. This 62-kilometer (38-mile) trek takes hikers through seven high-altitude lakes, each with its unique beauty and charm. The trek also offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Other popular hiking trails in the Fann Mountains include the Kulikalon Lakes trek, which takes hikers through a series of turquoise-colored lakes, and the Chimtarga trek, which is a challenging multi-day trek that leads to the summit of Chimtarga Peak.

In addition to hiking and mountaineering, the Fann Mountains are also home to several small villages, where visitors can experience traditional Tajik culture and hospitality. The villages offer a range of accommodations, from basic homestays to comfortable guesthouses.
