Etretat is a small coastal town located in the Upper Normandy region of France. It is known for its stunning cliffs, arches, and beaches, which have been a popular subject for artists and photographers for centuries. The cliffs of Etretat are considered one of the most iconic natural landmarks of France, and have been featured in works by artists such as Claude Monet.

The most famous of the cliffs is the "Falaise d'Amont," which features an impressive arch that is visible from the beach below. The beach at Etretat is a popular spot for swimming and sunbathing, and visitors can take a leisurely stroll along the promenade to take in the views.

Etretat also has a charming town center, with narrow streets lined with half-timbered houses, quaint cafes and shops, and several historic monuments, including the Church of Saint-Joseph and the 19th-century Chapelle Notre-Dame de la Garde.
