Egeskov Castle is a Renaissance water castle located in the southern part of the island of Funen in Denmark. It is one of the best-preserved water castles in Europe and was built in 1554 by Frands Brockenhuus, a Danish nobleman. The castle is surrounded by a moat, which is still filled with water.

Egeskov Castle is known for its many architectural features, including its numerous towers, turrets, and spires. The castle is also home to a number of interesting museums, including a vintage car museum, a museum of historic motorcycles, and a museum of agricultural equipment. Visitors can also explore the castle's interior, including its many rooms and halls, which are decorated with period furnishings, artwork, and other artifacts.

One of the most popular attractions at Egeskov Castle is its beautiful gardens. The castle's gardens cover an area of over 20 acres and feature a number of different types of gardens, including a rose garden, a water garden, and a maze. The gardens also include a number of interesting sculptures and other works of art.

Egeskov Castle is open to the public from May to October each year. Visitors can explore the castle and its grounds on their own or take part in one of the many guided tours that are available. The castle is also available for private events and functions, including weddings, receptions, and corporate events.
