Dino Island is known for its rugged cliffs and crystal-clear waters, which make it a popular destination for swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Visitors can explore the island's many caves, including the Grotta del Leone (Lion's Cave), which contains ancient graffiti dating back to the Neolithic period.

The island is also home to the Arco Magno, a natural arch carved into the rock by the sea. This stunning geological formation is a popular spot for boat tours and sunset watching. On the western side of the island, visitors can find the remains of a medieval watchtower, built in the 16th century to protect the island from pirates.

Dino Island is accessible by boat from the nearby town of Praia a Mare, which has a small marina. There are no hotels or restaurants on the island, so visitors are advised to bring their own food and drink. The island is protected as part of the Dino Island National Park, which encompasses both Dino Island and the nearby coast. The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including dolphins, sea turtles, and several species of migratory birds.
