Bohemian Paradise, also known as Cesky Raj in Czech, is a protected area located in the northern part of the Czech Republic. It is a region of unique natural beauty, characterized by sandstone rock formations, forests, and meadows, which has made it a popular destination for hikers, rock climbers, and nature lovers.

The region is named after the many castles and chateaux that dot the landscape, including the Hruba Skala Castle, Trosky Castle, and Valdstejn Castle, which all offer stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

The sandstone rock formations are the main attraction of Bohemian Paradise. The region is home to many towering rock towers, deep canyons, and natural rock arches, which have been shaped by centuries of erosion. The most famous of these formations is the Prachov Rocks, a series of dramatic sandstone towers that have been popular with rock climbers for decades.

In addition to the stunning natural scenery, Bohemian Paradise also has a rich cultural heritage. The region is home to many small villages and towns, which offer a glimpse into traditional Czech life. Visitors can explore the historic town of Jicin, with its beautiful square and colorful buildings, or visit the quaint village of Turnov, which is famous for its jewelry making.

Bohemian Paradise is also home to many hiking trails, including the popular Golden Trail, which connects many of the region's castles and rock formations. Visitors can also enjoy cycling, horseback riding, and canoeing on the nearby Jizera River.
